Thanura & Hasini | Poet’s Lane

A cultural experience that reminded us just how awesome our job is, Thanura and Hasini’s wedding was a celebration of the couple’s Sri Lankan heritage.

Wanting to include a sense of modernity, Hasini’s white sari featured both elegance and tradition. Having both a cultural and civil ceremony, this couple tied the knot in front of a sea of friends and family, with the famed Poet’s Lane fairy-lights adding a whimsical tone to the formalities.

Having a background in dance, the bride choreographed a stunning first dance, complete with fog machine and a spin that seemed to last forever. The party quickly got going after such a performance, with the music echoing far across the stunning Dandenong Ranges.
